A veneer is a layer of material placed over a tooth, either to improve the aesthetics of a tooth (change the color of teeth or shape correction) or to protect the tooth`s surface from damage.
Treatment process:
- Consultation with a prosthetist and making X-rays and analysis
- Preparing teeth by reducing their size (or cut down)
- Prosthetic impression, selecting the appropriate color and material to determine what will be done with a veneer
- Performing a temporary protective veneer (in our clinic)
- Fitting a veneer
- Final veneer insertion
