There are a few types of elastics appliance. They are custom-made on the basis of the malocclusion and the patient’s age. The appliance should be worn for couple hours during the day unless the doctor states otherwise. The treatment period may vary depending on the malocclusion and the patient`s regularity. Follow-up visits take place every 6-8 weeks.
